LUXURY VILLAS AT BALI'S LEADING RESORTS
Some of Bali's hotels are advertising now some of their accommodation as "Private Villas". Walls around a tiny private garden – sometimes with a plunge pool – protect you from public view. All standard hotel services are provided.
However, none of these hotel "villas" can be compared with a real Villa. Most are just rooms or suites in individual cottages (actually, that's what they were called a few years ago before the name "villa" became fashionable). You won't have a real garden, spacious living/dining areas, direct telephone/fax lines, your own kitchen and chef, and house staff to pamper only you. Rates and the cost of food & beverage, laundry, telephone/fax, etc. are also at least three times higher at a "hotel villa" compared to one of our private villas in Bali. However, if you want to be served chilled KRUG or DOM PERIGNON of a specific vintage with Persian or Russian caviar on short notice and cost does not matter, a hotel villa is the right choice for you.
Please keep in mind there are not that many villas available at Bali's hotels, and they are often booked several months in advance. Therefore, VERY early reservation is recommended!
