Location
The Mahadewi compound consists of three villas set in a small village not far from the main road from Seminyak to Tanah Lot. The location is very quiet and secluded, surrounded by rice fields, papaya, bamboo and coconut palms. You feel like being near Ubud, but you are actually in South Bali and close to the island's best shops and restaurants.
In spite of its very quiet and rural setting, it's only about 15 minutes to Seminyak's most trendy restaurants such as Kafe Warisan, La Luciola, Ku de Ta, Hu'u, The Living Room and Sarong. It's about 20 minutes to the "Bali Nirvana Golf Course" and the famous Tanah Lot temple and approximately 45 minutes to Bali's international airport.
The Villa
Villa Mahadewi was completed in late 2005. This beautiful L-shape villa consists of two adjacent buildings with roofs covered with wooden tiles.
Entering through the main gate you step into the main building accommodating the spacious living and dining area with large glass doors opening up to the garden and swimming pool, a TV lounge and fully equipped kitchen. There are comfortable sofas and a long wooden dining table seating 8 and perfect to entertain guests. In the small TV lounge there is a comfortable sofa and a 29'' television with satellite receiver to enjoy international news, movie and sports channels.
Bedrooms
All air-conditioned bedrooms occupy the adjacent two-storey building. On the lower level, there is the master bedroom next to the stairs. It has a large sitting area and en-suite bathroom with two sinks, large bathtube, separate shower room and a walk-in wardrobe. The master bedroom has large glass doors and overlooks the pool and garden. In front of the room is a terrace with a round table for 4 persons.
Via the stair case next to the master bedroom you access the upper level accommodating two guest bedrooms. There is also a wide terrace protected from the sun by a canopy and overlooking the swimming pool and garden. All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned, have queen-size beds and large glass doors.
Facilities & Services
There are direct telephone & fax lines. All bedrooms feature private safes, and there are hair dryers in the bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances including a large refrigerator and a microwave oven. The trained full-time cook, maids and security guards are available at all times and live in staff quarters on-site or nearby. There is a back-up power generator and on-site parking for two cars.
Your personal Butler will take care of all your arrangements from planning meals, serving your afternoon tea, and arranging parties in your villa to visiting attractions, going shopping or organizing other activities and is available around the clock.
Your air-conditioned car with a reliable driver is included in the rates and at your service whenever needed.
